Our lizards are great for picky snakes, larger reptiles, and carnivorous birds. Most people purchase them and keep them as pets though!
Consider purchasing a cup of our 2-week crickets at the same time to have food on hand for them. They will drink standing water from a shallow cup (a small feeder dish with no lid works really well!)
Our Anoles are grade B lizards meaning they may be missing a portion of their tail, feet, or be slender for their age.
Please consider purchasing a cup of 2-week crickets along with your anole if you intend to house it longer than a day or two.
Brown Anole Care
Brown Anoles are land based, but enjoy climbing on trees and plants. They prefer a high spot where they can bask under a heat lamp at 90 to 95°. The rest of the enclosure should be kept 75 to 85°.
They are active during the day, which make them a fun starter pet.
As well as a small dish with water, they enjoy a daily mist of water to lick the droplets. This will also increase humidity for them as they like it around 65%.
A bioactive enclosure can be maintained with springtails and isopods (they can eat them!)
Lizards cannot be shipped to Hawaii or Canada without a permit.
