Product Description
Cricket Water Bites or Crystals
(roaches love them too!)
2 oz water crystals ship free when added on to your order
For use in all feeder insects including Dubia roaches, Madagascar roaches, mealworms and waxworms. Not needed if feeding an all-in-one product like Repashy Bug Burger or fresh fruits and vegetables.
Cricket crystals are ready for you to add water to and make your own cricket water bites!
(2 ounces of dry water crystals is enough to make 12 quarts of gel)
Using these crystals will prevent your crickets drowning in water and exposing them to moldy sponges
Water is edible and in a solid form, much more sanitary than standing water
To use:
- Mix 1 teaspoon of crystals with 1 quart of water. Wait one hour, and pour off any residual water.
- Store the gel covered in the refrigerator.
- Remove and replace gel from your bin when it discolors (turns brown) from oxidation.
FAQ: How do I use them with Mealworms?
A. When you add water and hydrate your crystals, you'll need about 1/2 cup of hydrated crystals for every 600 square inches every two days. Just grab them and sprinkle them evenly over the top. If you've got water crystals left at the end of two days, then you need to reduce the amount. All the crystals should be gone by the second day.
